The average life of a Thompson Talon edge is 8-10 times that of other knives. All our knives are crafted from D2 high-speed tool steel, one of the toughest most wear resistant tool steel alloys modern technology has been able to achieve. All our knives are produced to our order by a special patented process, which gives 2 1/2 times the shock resistance of steel made the traditional way. Handles are cut from natural materials like caribou horn or Central American hardwood, and are designed to match the style of the blade.
